Wanchai Visual Archive is packing out with a strong exhibition again. Marco du Mutiis explores the concept of controlling the transient and the ephemeral in particular with respect to time.
With it two participatory workshops are organised. We checked out the first one yesterday and it was excellent. The second one will be held next Saturday 12 August 2012, 3.00-6.00pm at Wanchai Visual Archive. It is completely free and not to be missed.
For more information, please visit www.visualarchive.hk or find them on Facebook.
DNA House has organised one of their cool mixers again, this time it is about photography.
Here is what they say about it:
The DNA House Photography creative mixer is open to aspiring photographers who wish to gain exposure and recognition by sharing and discussing their experiences and stories of their photographs in a practical environment. The creative mixer aims to bring together photographers of different genres to interact and contribute their ideas in an open discussion based approach.
For more info, please click here.
There are two interesting guest speakers: Chun Wai and Cecilia Ho.
To reserve a place at the mixer, RSVP by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Limited spaces available. Reservations will be conducted on a first come, first served basis.
