MTR - Art in Station - Call for Proposals
Exciting times! The MTR in partnership with the Art Promotion Office are looking for artwork commissions for the new MTR stations. They are in search of original station artwork proposals for the West Island Line, the Kwun Tong Line Extention and the South Island Line. The proposal needs to focus on the unique culture of the district and it needs to enhance the environment.
Briefing session: Friday 17 August, 6.30-8.30pm. Lecture Theatre, 4/F, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, 7A Kennedy Road, Central, Hong Kong.
Proposal deadline: Friday 28 September

1- Year/2- Year Grant
The Hong Kong Arts Development Council has recently announced a new funding scheme. Grants are available for qualified drama, xiqu, music, dance, visual arts, film and media arts, multi-disciplinary, arts education, arts criticism and arts administration arts organizations. Please note that this year you can only apply for the 1-year grant

Pure Art Foundation
Gives grants to artists but also have a venue available for exhibitions. Grant scheme is open every year from June to end of September.

Public Art Scheme
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department is inviting artists and art groups to send in a public artwork proposal for the Art Scheme of the
Town Park, Indoor Velodrome-cum-Sports Centre in Tseung Kwan O. The scheme is organised by the Art Promotion Office in partnership with the Architectural Services Department.
A briefing session is scheduled on Saturday 4 February 2012 at 2.30pm. (reservation is necessary)
Deadline of preliminary proposals submission is 31 March 2012
